Where busy professionals come to practice and improve their English
The Breakroom is a monthly membership for ambitious folks who want to speak better English at work but have no time or idea what to practice.
You know that fluency comes from practice…
But as a busy professional, squeezing English study into your schedule isn’t exactly easy.
You want to improve—heck, you’ve bought textbooks, taken classes, invested a ton of time and money into practice. But nothing you’ve tried has inspired you to stick at it or speak your mind at work.
You’re tired of passively watching Netflix, hoping the fluency will somehow sink in. And you’re done with discussing the same textbook topics over and over again.
You’re ready to make real progress and use English to reach your career goals—you just don’t know what to study or how to fit it in.
Here’s the thing: You don’t need to spend hours studying English to improve.
And practice doesn’t have to be a total drag. Because the answer to faster fluency isn’t more motivation or time—it’s consistency and quality.
When you build the right habits and study the right stuff, practicing becomes FUN, and fluency comes FASTER.
But… how?
Enter: the Breakroom
The online English practice community for stupidly busy professionals who want to fast-track their fluency and build good habits—without wasting valuable time figuring out what will make a difference.
With the support of bi-weekly calls, regular exercises, and personalized feedback, you’ll finally make speaking practice part of your routine and:
-
Make progress on your own time
Close the textbooks and delete the language apps because short and impactful speaking prompts and grammar exercises will tell you exactly what to practice each day to improve—even if you only have 10 minutes.
-
Expand your conversation comfort zone
Live discussion sessions on deep global topics will inspire you to speak up and share your thoughts on anything. Because vocab is vocab, grammar is grammar—and jargon is, well, useless.
-
Receive regular feedback on your speaking
I’m here to show you where you’re kicking butt and what you need to work on to hit your speaking goals. So forget asking your boss for feedback!
-
Join a global community of like-minded folks
Leave your insecurities at the door. This is a judgment-free, safe space to experiment, network, improvise, and improve alongside other badass professionals just like you.
Meet your cheerleader
Hey! I’m Stephanie—and I’m here to help you find your voice in English.
Back in 2016, I was teaching super impressive folks who were kicking butt in their careers and our weekly English sessions. But they still struggled to articulate their thoughts clearly at work.
It didn’t take long to figure out why: outside of our sessions, my clients had no one to practice English with, which slowed their progress down.
That didn’t sit right with me, so I decided to create a safe space for folks like you to regularly practice speaking about *real* stuff—not jargon.
So you can build the confidence to say HECK YEAH to that English presentation, meeting, or interview without thinking twice.
But this isn’t only about business English
I could give you a list of phrases that’ll make you sound impressive, but that’s no use if you freeze as you say them.
Communicating confidently is about more than words and grammar. To feel comfortable under the spotlight, you need to rehearse everything—from what you’re saying to how you’re saying it.
Combining my background in theater, business, and education, I’ll train you to use English in real, communicative situations. So, you don’t just remember your lines, but handle your nerves, breeze past your mistakes, and deliver a standing-ovation-worthy performance.
Because English is a tool you can use to…
- Go for that promotion you’ve been eyeing up since you started your role.
- Apply for your dream job feeling confident you stand a good chance of getting it.
- Qualify for a work visa abroad and create the life you’ve been dreaming of.
- Get noticed by your boss (maybe even your boss’ boss!) and open yourself to opportunities you know you deserve.
- Impress international clients and be seen as the competent professional you are.

Nope! The Breakroom works like a Netflix subscription—you can cancel anytime!
Yes and no. The main aim of the Breakroom is to provide the community and accountability you’re missing from your English practice. It’s not a coaching program, but you will get some hands-on advice from me during our calls.
If you want a more structured coaching program, check out my private and group courses—your membership to the Breakroom is included in both.
Most members are at the B1 level and above. So, to get the most out of the community, it’s most suitable for folks who have studied English before and want to refine their speaking and writing skills to communicate more easily in the workplace.
Not sure what level you’re at? Send me a message to arrange a quick chat, and I’ll help you figure it out.
Not necessarily. The community is made up of professionals from so many different sectors that it would be impossible to choose one.
That said, if you have industry-specific questions, you just need to ask—I’m here to answer.
Or, you can check out my private courses for completely customizable sessions.
Confidence, clarity, and coherence don’t come from just practicing subject-specific language. Discussing a range of topics will arm you with all the skills to feel comfortable in any situation.
Plus, folks rarely only want to talk about work, am I right!?
It’s time to build some
serious(ly fun) English practice habits!
With the right habits, the right exercises, and the right community, fluency comes faster, and practice can be fun.
